Keloid in a few words

-Tumor (big nodule) derived from the conjunctive tissue – it is characterized by an important proliferation of fibroblasts and collagen.
-It has a tendency to extend and to recur when excised.
-It is more frequent in darker skin phototypes (IV, V, VI)
