- This case report mentions the treatment of a type of tattoo, formed of iron particles used to stop bleeding (hemostasis). This is called a Monsel tattoo
- 4 sessions of cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen) would clear the tattoo as a consequence of blister formation allowing for elution of intradermal iron particles.
