- Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a therapeutical modality which consists of withdrawing blood, centrifugating it to obtain a blood cell concentrate and then to reinject it locally
- This case report shows Alopecia areata with ophiasis (clinical sign of poorer prognosis) responding to PRP after ineffective topical corticosteroid treatment.
- It was done in a 41 year old woman
