- Acute urticaria is caused in 70% of cases by drugs and food (or its preservatives). In this case the acute urticaria presented as a 2-day history of spreading rash, subjective fever, and generalized pain. The patient also had a 2-week history of cough, sore throat, headaches, congestion, rhinorrhea, and sneezing. was also an infection of the right knee and the dog bite was localized on the right thigh.
- Right knee monoarthritis was a preferred localization of the infectious organism, as a surgical procedure with ingestion of a prosthesis was done 10 years beforehand (arthroplasty)
